This Cookie Policy explains how AlephPlay uses cookies and similar storage technologies on our website at alephplay.com. It is intended to be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
The short version:
- We use a small number of cookies that are essential to running the site and basic analytics.
- We do not use advertising cookies. Ever.
- We do not allow third-party trackers to follow you across the web from our site.
- Our mobile app does not use cookies at all.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser to remember information between visits. "Similar technologies" include things like browser local storage and session storage, which work the same way but live in different parts of your browser.
Cookies can be set by the site you are visiting (a first-party cookie) or by a service the site embeds (a third-party cookie). They can last just for the current browsing session (a session cookie) or persist for a set period (a persistent cookie).
2. Where We Use Cookies
Cookies are used on our website only. Our iOS and Android apps use their own platform storage (not browser cookies) and are described in the Privacy Policy, not here.
3. Cookies We Set
We group cookies by what they do. The first two categories below are what most of the site uses. The third runs only on a small number of pages and respects the rules described in Section 5.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to work. They cannot be turned off because nothing else would function. Examples:

Analytics (website only, adult pages only)
We use Google Analytics 4 on a limited set of marketing pages (the landing page, pricing, contact, and legal pages) to understand which pages visitors land on and how long they stay. Google Analytics is not loaded inside our mobile apps or on any page intended for children.

Google Analytics is configured with no advertising features enabled. We do not share analytics data with Google Ads or any advertising platform.
4. What We Do Not Use
- Advertising cookies — none. AlephPlay does not advertise, and we do not host ads on the site.
- Behavioral retargeting — none. We never re-show our site to you on another platform based on your browsing.
- Cross-site tracking pixels — none. We do not embed Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, X (Twitter) Pixel, or similar.
- Session replay or heatmap tools — none.
- Cookies in the mobile app — none. The app uses local device storage governed by the Privacy Policy.
5. How You Can Control Cookies
You have several ways to control or remove cookies:
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block, delete, or be prompted before cookies are set. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
- Our cookie banner. If you are in the EU, UK, or another region where consent is required, our banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies on your first visit. You can revisit your choice at any time from the link in our website footer.
- Opting out of Google Analytics. You can install Google's browser opt-out add-on to stop GA from collecting data on any site.
- Do Not Track. Modern browsers send a "DNT" signal that some sites respect. We do not engage in cross-site tracking either way, so this signal does not change our behavior.
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout. Blocking analytics or functional cookies will not affect any feature except your preferences may need to be re-set.
6. Children
The pages on our website that children can reach (the in-app game routes redirected to our app domain) do not load analytics or any non-essential cookies. The marketing pages that do use Google Analytics are written for parents, not children. See Section 5 of the Privacy Policy for our full position on children's data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change the cookies in use. Material changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, where required by law, in a fresh consent prompt.
